No more any more

Goodbye

Enough is enough. No more blog of mine will shine in vain henceforth. I had it enough. I don't want to earn enmity from souls dear to me. Outspokenness offends some. Yatharthavadhi vegujana dhrohi is the lesson I learnt in a hard way.
Whatever comes I will have to take it on my stride. So, friends I am sorry I am not available from now on.
Who am I to mend others? Instead I will try to amend my nature.

Apprisal after reprisal

It is not with intention

I love this game, come what may. It is one Bha (actually 2 Bhas) asked me to create a blog, rather block, which knowledge I didn't have. It is another Ba reprimanding me. What bah bah I can do? Deep got into my veins which can appear in at times and disappear (k(y)a chalega?) at most of the times with 'no privilege'. Is it varicose vein? I wonder, grafted in me?
If offended any one that was not my motive I apologise from my heart. I am the last citizen of this globe but having lobe. First citizen might be deep deep in Kashayam. Not 'implied' but 'applied' my dear nuncle.
Vinasa kalay vibaritha buddhi. It is meant for me, none others. Please don't read between the lines for Godsake. I am stoning myself for self-realisation - an attempt.

Move along or be stampled

For onward march

Whether one likes the path he has chosen or not, he/she has to keep moving. Else that person would be stampled under the feet of forwarding mass.
Let the river flow in milk yet the dog can only lick - meaning what's one's due he will be upto it. Further if attempted it might not be within his reach. Or one might creat new enemies.
Satiation is one thing, suffice should be the attitude. Avaraciousness would lead to discontent if the sought is not got. There is hell a lot to learn. Assuming one knows everything is ego. It is a vice to be detested.
If philosophically life is taken nothing to worry. Stray thoughts of these would be churning in the minds of a fellow who does not like the community. There are jackals, tigers and beasts among us. Of course good souls are also there. No one is sane cent per cent. Insanity to some degree prevails in all of us. But sanity has to save him at times. As Thiruvalluvar said where one's anger would work magic he has to be angry. Always angry would see him to the doom and his life will not bloom.

Some privileged lots

Go Deep to 'i'nflict 'ka'yam

In an organisation some late entries rule the roost. Bosses favour those elements. For what it is not known. May be stronger connection - business or other professional interest - which hurts the feelings of one that was loyal to the core.
Philosophically if taken on stride, what for having strove hard for the company the poor soul? It is not self sympathy, but out of apathy. If that person has to be elevated let that person be given executive post and fat salary on par with the MD or immediate boss. Why should the weakling be trampled under the feet of that late comer?
The indelible wound that has been nitched out will never be etched out. They may come any time go any time. Nothing can stop them. No power on earth can prevent them from creating havoc - that is wounding the feelings of others. Privileged lots suckers. Blood suckers as leeches.

Down Under

Thunder blunder

Britishers when establishing colonies worldover set free the war time criminals and got them settled in Australia and New Zealand. The ciminal blood running in them ran through the blood of their progenies, hence the villain in them. They are bashing Indian students. Idiots, bastards that is their trait.
Even Aussie cricket players used to make obscene gestures in the field and nudge the opposite players. Nuts to the core, guts they have to butt into others' privacy. Slaves' mentality they have no right to exist on this decent society and have to exterminated.

No. 2 in TN politics

Two is always 2
In the DMK when Annadurai was Chief Minister, an exception who has not brought in his wards into politics, Nedunchezhiyan was No. 2. When MGR broke away and formed ADMK there too Nedunchezhiyan was No 2. Back in DMK Nedunchezhiyan was No. 2. No. 2 was never promoted to No. 1. After Anna died, Karunanidhi usurped power pushing back Nedunchezhiyan to the same position. When the latter joined MGR-floated ADMK, he had to be No. 2. After MGR's death in Janaki faction, Veerappan was No. 2 and when Jayalalithaa won people's support her AIADMK came in for recognition, Nedunchezhiyan was No. 2. No. 2 was No. 2 for ever.
No. 2 game was stagnant. Understanding it fully well, now Stalin was announced No. 3 and not No. 2. No. 2 Anbhazhagan would be relegated after Karunanidhi and No. 3 Stalin would become No. 1. So, No. 2 in Tamilnadu politics is scape goat and they have to search for a boat to tide along to shore. Warreh Wa!

I curse my ill-luck

For not having become a Cabinet Minister

My father was not the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu in the first place. He wasn't a rationalist, an ardent believer in God. He would never blame God for his sufferings. He could be compared to Book of Job, who never cursed God when his wife asked him to give up God belief. Had my dad been heading the Tamilnadu Government and with the prowess of our present Chief Minister, he would have made me a Cabinet Minister, my brother his deputy.
Whom should I blame for this? God alone, as I am not so much mad after God as my father was. I am learning a lesson through this. One should be rationlist, arrogant to the core, move coins in such a manner, myself and my family alone enjoy the fruit and ditch others. Above all, I should many wives, sons, daughters, grand sons, grand daughters, great grand sons, great grand daughters to occupy ministerial berth throughout India. I, I alone should be the ruler and others my slaves. Blessed me with not that acumen, Oh devil! Not God. God be damned.

Italian lady's stricture

'Perform or perish'

It is obvious our foreign daughter-in-law Sonia is not happy with the present jumbo cabinet formed at the Centre. With around 60-70 seats short for absolute majority the Congress had to induct so many ministers to please its allies. Allies, some resorted to blackmail, armtwist, beg, lick the boots and various other tactics to be seated in the cabinet. Sonia group had to give in.
Disgusted over it and Sonia mania having not worked, the foreign lady who was so long dictating terms, now got vexed and asked the ministry under Manmohan Singh to 'perform or perish'. The wound she received was so large and indiscribable with the loss of her beloved husband. It took 18 long years to the injuries to heal and that too not completely. It might be a solace that the LTTE which was responsible for Rajiv Gandhi's brutal assassination, was decimated.
There are other forces within who abetted in the crime but alliance had to be made with the accomplices and that must be troubling her. She might be waiting for an opportune time to tarnish the image of the evil forces, as per the Tamil saying, Pagaiyali kudiyai uravadi kedu. Who knows what is in her mind?

Life-time ambition

Karunanidhi appeased

By making his son M K Azhagiri as Cabinet Minister, Chief Minister Karunanidhi's lifetime ambition has been fulfilled. M K Azhagiri's son, his son, his son, his son, his son, his son for thousand generations and more have to be inducted into Central Cabinet. Otherwise, Manmohan Singh's Sonia Gandhi's thousand generations cannot rule the nation.
Better the nation India's name be changed to Karunanidhi. A great Dravidian by birth, freedom figher, patriot to the core, for generations should rule the nation. Anyone coming in between them is a traitor. MK's family is the only one with national spirit. Drohi Lal Bahadur Sasthri and the thousands who have laid down their lives for India's freedom and they cannot claim any right. Karunanidhi is the only soul above law, who has to be worshipped, revered. And in days to come those who do not lick the feet of the Karunanidhis will have to be driven out of the land. Beware bloody Indians. Monogamy to you and not to the rulers. They can have any number of wives and sons, daughters born to them who are destined to rule this nation. You have no claim, go to hell.

Make all the MPs Ministers

Create Guinness Record

Let the 534 MPs be made Ministers. Portfolios for each right from damn to blessed thing. Enjoy our post people's representatives. Preamble is their gamble. People are hell lot of fools and tools in the hands of Members of Parliament.
Even if shame struck stick on to seats for it their feats. Beasts boast of doing this and that.
Mockery of democracy. People go to hell not to swell there. Arasiyalukku varadhe panam pannathan. Pinam thinnum kazhugugal.

Kamadhenu

Not coming forth

Poor DMK MPs for a berth in the Central Government they have to run from pillar to post. They want the berth that would make them one of the crorepathies in Asia and of course the whole world.
Not-so-influential berths they detest. Kamadhenu which would ever be milching them with cash that would go into black and find way to Swizz Bank, is nowhere near them. Now the time is ripe for the man who was harping on bringing out stashed money in foreign banks is nowhere to be seen nearby. If he had won the election and formed Government at Centre, there was hope at least he would try bring the black money to India. Such politicians' fear is now allayed.
They can amass wealth to the extent that they themselves could not have track of the same. How then can be otherwise that poor going poorer and rich growing richer? Oorukku upadesam thanakku thanidesam, sandhosham.

Pathavi veri

Chance to enhance position unethically

Kaapi hotel vachirundhavan unavu manthiri aanan, collegeukku pogadhavan kalvi manthri aanan, a film song most suited to the present-day situation. When Lal Bahadur Sasthri was in Tashkent he was surprised to find heads of each portfolio qualified in the field.
But in India it is upside down. Even voting franchise should be given to only educated. Illiterates for money without knowing the consequences would exercise their votes to idiots. Where goes India? Jamamayakam or pananayakam?
If you head a ministry you need not have knowledge. The IAS and IPS other bureaucrats have to bow down to the fools. They have no say. This should change then only there will be good governance. A peon for taking a bribe of just Rs 5 will be sacked. Whereas the politician sharks can suck in millions. No one to stop these leaches from drawing blood completely. The so-called law-makers are the law-breakers. Flabberghasting flibbertigibbets.

Prabhakaran dead though . . .

His ghost haunts

LTTE annihilated, Prbhakaran and his coteri dead and gone, the so-called hero-worshippers even now claim that he is very much alive! Such an indelible mark he had etched out on their minds.
The terrorist outfit marginalised completely is no doubt(s) why then this bouts? Can he be compared to Ravana? Then who is Rama? As Ravana abducted Sita, he took into custody innocent Tamils, stood behind them so that they served his shields, at last fell at the hands of Sri Lankan army. That doesn't mean the army is Rama. They are not such a noble soul.
The Sinhalese want to grab the Tamils' lands. Expansionist attitude and wanted to decimate Tamils and drive them out of their lands. They want to usurp the Tamilian territories where they have been living for centuries and have been striving for the growth of Sri Lanka, of which they are part and parcel. Unless and until the Tamils are let to live a peaceful and dignified life in Sri Lanka there won't return calm in the island nation.

Sri Lanka celebrates victory

DMK in TN wants plum posts

Sri Lankan developments have been sidelined by the DMK, an unofficial spokesman of the LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran, for it fights for top ministerial berths for itself with the new UPA Government at the Centre in India.
What does it mean? Sri Lanka issue was only a plank for the DMK or for that matter any other party in Tamilnadu. Their selfish end stands foremost. It was all crocodile tears. Now and then press releases are made as to the Sri Lankan army's claim of slaying Prabhakaran was false. The Prabhakaran angle is immaterial to our politicians.
Our former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was killed brutally as crushing a fly in the month May. The same month the LTTE was decimated. The similarity just a coincidence? Or is it calculated one? At the time parliamentary elections were held, the army operations in Sri Lanka reached its peak. Violence wraught violence. Ayudham eduthavan ayudhathalayae madivan is not a simple saying. It proves to be so. All God-designed.

People's verdict

Hail two-party system
It is good that two parties - the Congress and the BJP - are registered in the minds of the people. India is numerous nations within itself. Hence the regional parties. If one wants to float a party he can. That it the situation here. The whole of India should have just two parties - one the ruling and the other opposition. Then only the governance will be better. As Democrats and Republic in the US. With hell a lot of parties divide and rule which the Britisher practised will come into force. Each one having his/her own views cannot keep India united.
The great nation has to sustain for ever. Unity is diversity is our strength. Let that strength be preserved and reserved for our progeny. Long live India. Bharat Mata ki jai.

Counting begins

Mounting pressure

Fifteenth Lok Sabha is to be formed with elected members. It is their turn now to rule or ruin the country. Kudumipudi sandai for prime minister's post is to be witnessed.
Whoever is the prime minister his prime duty should be to root out terrorism from our soil. Next the black money stashed by our politicians should be brought back without favour or fear. Even the man concerned is of his party ie the ruling party. No one should be spared. Such will power who has?
If it is done his name would be written in golden letters in the archives and such prime minister would ever be revered. There are people who go without a square meal. They are literally on the streets, begging for alms. Think of them and act. Thick-skinned politicians will never do that.
These politicians grow fat and eat, drink and are merry. Hell with them, one day the death knell will ring for them.

Horse trading

Unholy alliances may be formed

With the LS polling over, the results are to be announced Saturday. If as per various survey reports that the Congress alliance has an edge, closely followed by the BJP. In that case smaller parties and independents would be wooed by both the national parties. It is to be waited and watched the political tamasha. Money power would play a vital role in the formation of the Government. If there prevails tug-of-war within the Government such formed, another election is imminent. At the time of economic recession India cannot afford to hold next election next year. But within the period the Government becomes unstable, if black money stashed at the Swiss bank could be brought to India, as promised by the NDA ten such elections could be held. US will become poorer nation and India the richest one. Britishers swindled Indian wealth they say, but Indians robbing Indians is much more worse.
At least to bring back the black money every patriot Indian's wish would be that the BJP should form the Government in the Centre with single majority. Will that befall to the unhappy lot - the poorest of the poor? Those politicians who have amassed wealth for generations have to be exposed and deported to somewhere in deserts. Who will take the cudgel?

Voters' apathy

Name left out in the game

Their democratic rights have been denied. Several electorate who came to the booths to vote with their voter IDs found to their shock found their names not in the voters' list. How it happened? Enumerators' mistake? In one instance Door NO 48 exists and 50 too and not the 49. P C Sorkar vanishes the whole train from the vision of people. Likewise an immovable property, very much there, gone out into oblivion.
The property owner pays tax for a non-existence one. Fantastic! Even when the enumerators had come when the inmates were out, once or twice they could have put a note stating that they had been there and advised them to contact the officials. Doesn't it seem democratic in a democracy? There were cases earlier that when voters went to the booth to exercise their franchise, their votes would have already been polled by impersonators. Now in the first place their names are not to be found.

Crying wolf!

It's all to disgrace the ruling party?

There was a breakdown in power due to trippping resulting in several parts of the city going black Tuesday night. Immediately there was a cry from the ruling party visual medias that it was a sabotage to defile the ruling Government. Every move, every happening is being turned in favour of the parties concerned. For a deamnd of 10,000 mw only 8,000 and odd megawatts are produced. Under the circumstances, it might be due to real tripping. However, four persons have been taken into custody - scape goats or paid pipers?
If something happens somewhere the parties both the ruling and the opposition turn the event as it had happen to harm their parties. In the similar fashion 'Gnabhagam varudhae, gnabhavam varudhe . . .' song is being used to suit their convenience by both the Dravidian parties. Good political tamasha. People enjoy the same, churn it into their mind and turn one a ruler and other a bowler. Here, it signifies the batsman is the ruler and the man at the other end (who bowls) is opposed to him.
In cricket if all the wickets are downed the other side will bat. The innings is hardly a day in one-dayers and two at the most in Tests. Whereas in politics, all out is decalred once in five years. If something goes wrong in the middle 'foul' - dismissal followed by Umpire, here the President will rule. As much as possible comparison is brought between cricket and politics so that both can relish.

Election at last

Selection of MPs to facilitate collection

MPs whether they care for the nation or not they are elected by the people. What for? To get their wallets full? Known source of incomes, unknown source of amount - in sums to fill their coffins. Representatives, they are called people's their people? Their fortune? Their wellbeing, others' illbeing?
India is one great democracy. Britishers swindled our wealth and now it is the turn our own politicians. The English garnered Indian teasure but according to their pleasure did some things, indirectly for the growth of India, knowingly or unknowingly. Our men knowingly and arrogantly amass wealth at the cost of the citizens. There seems to be no jettison of their black.
Barathiyar said, 'Thammul sandai seidhalum sagotharar andro? Endru thaniyum indha suthandhira thagam.' Sudhanthira thagam has been quenched but party people's thirst for fortune and pride will never be satiated.

'I'll send army to create Ealam'

Fantastic and funny

The AIADMK supremo's farfetched idea of sending army to Sri Lanka to create Ealam what's going on? Has she turned insane? Votes, votes, votes alone what else there can be?
Suppose she becomes Primi Minister of India, will she be able to send Indian army to whatever country she like. Then it is very easy for her rule the world. She can conquer US, European countries, African nations, Australia, even Antarctica.

Belief in God

Time immemorial is present

'Illaiendru sonnavanum edhanaiyillai endru sonnan, illaioru sakthi illa endru sollavillai endran', Kavignar Kannadasan's great verse. Once an ardent atheist the poet, had completely turned into theist. Right from the beginning of the world aethism coexisted with theism.
'Kadavul illai, illai illavae illai, kadavilai numbukiravan kaattumirandi' our Periyar. He did not stop with this. His DK took out a procession with Sri Ramar, Sri Seetha garlanded with chappals in Salem, thereby wounding the feelings of millions who believe and worship Lord Rama. While the then DMK Government allowing the procession, it seized Thuglak which published the photographs of the procession.
King should be such. What a ruler impartial, to consider his subject as idiots? Periyar's vengayam has become foremost to the Devilish Marvelling Koottam (DMK) and not Dravidian Munnetra Kazhagam!
Why force one's nonsense thoughts into others? Let them go to hell. And not drag others into it. Jaya footballed the Kanchi mutt for her part. Rulers are alike. In amassing wealth they compete with each other. Religious tenets if stood in their path it would be kicked. It is not 'do good to others but do good to yourself - their policy!

Comedy ever ready

Vivekin vivega wit that fits

'Buttonai thattivitta rendu idily vanthidanum' sang NSK in a film. That was suited in his time. But to the present-day setup Vivek's comedy is not only timing but also has a point in it. He is compared to the yesteryear's Kalaivanar. To some extent it is correct. But sense of comedy is in both of the commedians. Some nonsense cracks ocjokes are considered as comedy. It is taste that differs.
Vivek in his own amicable style really asathararu. Vivek is Vivek and Vadivel is Vadivel, no compare. 'Romba nallavannu sonnangaiah' that sutis Vadivel. 'Eppidi irunatha naan ippidi ayitten' that is Vivek. Others in pair beat each other 'barta thalaiya, eruma maadu' are their taste.
Of all Nagesh was par excellence. Comedy and pathos were in his veins. No soul ever there was and going to be come near him. Versatile actor that he was. Server Sundaram Madhu for pathos, Thiruvilaiyadal Dharumi for comedy. No remedy, already he has done every role, the final goal he has reached. He will never be impeached.

Andapuluganin athisaya yathirai

'Government staff were treated with respect in AIADMK regime'

Ayyo, ayyo, ayyo ithaivida pulugu moottai engavathu vunda? Everyone knows how the
government staff numbering lakhs were driven and arrested overnight entering their houses. They were sacked with a stroke of pen. Eventhough public memory is said to be low, as it happened yesterday each Government employee cherish, no churn in his/her mind the nightmare. Midnight arrests were made irrespective of male, female, loyal, errants. Can it be wiped out of their minds? Everyone ran for shelter to their relative's house, friend's house. Mindless woman, she will be a dictator, more than Hitler, Musolini, Prabhakaran, if given a chance.
And now she has undertaken a yathirai for super power India's Prime Minister's post. And learned Cho is supporting her every move. Is it fair on his part. It doesn't mean that Karunanidhi is truthful. All are liars. But wellknown thing is openly suppressed. No one ever dared this. At least they could have kept mum. A lie if uttered more than 100 times, it would become true, there is a saying. But this kind of lie even if repeated one million times, it would never become a truth above law.

Jaya's political stunt

Ealam kolam poondar

Not in the manifesto, but as an after thought, Thani Ealam sprouted from Jaya's brain. Are Sri Lankan Tamils going to exercise franchise here? If so she would sure to win all the 40 LS seat including that of Pudhuchery. It won't be a surpirse even if she is directly voted for Prime Minister's post which she eyes. But unfortunately SL Tamils have no voting right here for Indian parliamentary election.
Dr Ramadoss has to be given a doctorate for seeing similarity of his newfound heroine with that of Indira Gandhi. Indira Gandhi got separated Bagla Desh from East Pakistan, which repercussion we still experience. At the beginning there was an influx of refugees which led to the compulsion of affixing refugees' stamps in postal articles that we posted. That might even be the reason for Pakistan having become our sworn enemy for they nurture terrorists on their land to be engaged in India.
With Jaya's blabbering another Bangal Desh-like situation would surely rise here and Sri Lanka would become our another foe. Fantastic foreign policy Jaya is engaged in.
For all this, power. power and power alone is the only enticing thing for our politicians. Let all die, I should seated in power. No national spirit, no patriotism, no love for Indians. The pledge of
'India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country. I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country and its people I pledge my devotion. In their wellbeing and prosperity alone lies my happiness - Jaihind'
has gone with the wind, especially with out politicians. vazhga jananayagam!

Take it easy, EC

Busy EC cosy choosy

Election Commission that came to Tamilnadu discovered overall adherence to the model code as 'satisfactory'. Lovely, when a reporter made a comment that he was soft on violations in Madurai since he was appointed by the UPA government in which the DMK was a constituent. Navin Chawla retorted saying, 'Everyone should be judged by the action taken and not by the spoken words.' That means he will speak one thing and act the other way.
Going by all this, it becomes obvious the full Election Commission is Government's organ and impartiality could not be expected of the bureaucrats. Hurray ho 'Democracy'. The UPA government was very calculative and moved the coin with utmost shrewdness. As long as Navin is in, the UPA will be ruling, sorry ruining the country. President is their madam, EC is theirs what can the so-called the nationlist party BJP could do?
Either by hook or crook Manmohan's team headed by queen Sonia wanted to stick on to power. We will never see a courageous PM who will act and that is the fate of India.

There is not time

To stand and stare

In the internet world youth population is busy and finds no time to care for others, why even their parents. Hence the old age homes have come up in large number. They are after money, elders are left lonely to fend for themselves.
Well, the old people long for affection which does not come forth - what a deflection? Matha, Pitha, Guru, Deivam is the order. But now Money, luxury, pleasure, extravagance has become the border. Do they save for their future? They spend lavishly the hardly earned.

Life after death

Dwelt upon

What we were before born? There was no trace of us. But after our death traces of our presence when we were alive would be lingering for some time. Say upto three generations we would be called when rites would be performed by our progeny. Four genrations later we would be considered as gone forever. But our prints on this earth would be there till this earth lives.
What a wonder - God's designs? Whether a person when living was a saint or demon that will be erased from the face of the world. Commets were resposible for life to spring on this soil, it was researched. Whether it is so or no we have taken this shape as we are. Punniyam, paavam are really there? So-called paavam doers live happily ever. And punniyavans face lot of problems. Hell swells, well dwells in deep wells.

What a monstrous act!

Train hijack

We have known of bikes, cars taken away using duplicate keys. This idea of eloping a train and causing so much damage, loss of few people's lives seems to be farfetched and simply a monstrous, devilish act of an insane, rather a demon terrorist mindset unscrupulous anti-social idiot's job.
Such mindless persons should be weeded out of this planet. It is heartrending and fortunately loss of life was not that alarming. What RPF was doing? Security was not so tight. But what could be done, unless we have mind reading ability of the evil designs?
If a man with the intention of poking your nose passes by how are we to know. Before we get to ourselves the damn thing is get done and then only it is realised. What do they achieve out of this? They themselves won't be alive to rejoice over their act. Destruction is their only motive. Precious lives are lost. It is highly condemnable. These villains do not want peace to previal on earth. Poor innocents they fall victims.

Sop to mop

Sots not given slot

The ruling party has slashed MTC bus fares unannounced. The model code of conduct has not been violated! Okay MTC commuters' votes are assured. But what about our kudimagans? They outnumber MTC passengers. Why haven't they reduced the liquor prices. That would have fetched them the entire votes. Each and every one almost becoming drunkard with the Government taking over the Tasmac outlets, would it not be easy for the DMK to garner all their votes if the prices of bottles brought to rock bottom. Here are suggestions - Monitor for Rs 10 per quarter. And other brands for varying prices like Rs 5, Rs 2 Re 1 likewise. Advisors have not inculcated this in the mind of our CM. Most unfortunate. EC would not mind it. Because this would also be not announced. Our sots would not reveal this. They will a happy lot. Hail election, collection could be made later after their selection. Reflection Kalaignar's solar (sun can also be taken for son) perplection in his organ Drumbeat.

Unholy alliances

No shame, puppy shame
People are a confused lot. Tamilnadu Brahmins Association Kancheepuram district backs L Ganesan of BJP in south Chennai constituency whereas the same outfit favours PMK's A K Murthy for Sriperumbudur constituency for this 15 Lok Sabha election. Their version: depending upon the merit of the candidate.
Rajiv killers supporters are allies of the Congress. LTTE supporters and opposers are friends. Whom they are fooling? Ultimately the people. They are a confused lot as to whom to elect. Politicians are all one when it comes to the question of power and pelf. They will stoop to any level. Even lick the boots of voters.
After coming to power easily the people are forgotten for the next five years. Again they will approach the same voters without any shame for the wealth amassed during their tenure was not enough and sky is their limit. No satiation. People, let them go to hell would be their attitude is their fortitude.

Stunt men defeated

Indefinite fasting

One party wants separate Tamil Ealam. Another going on indefinite fasting. Our politicians are 'dying' for Tamils of Sri Lanka. Our own Tamilians going into oblivion. Votes, votes matter, nothing else. Are our electorates fools? Our politicians believe so.
It is pity that Tamilnadu lacks men of calibre. Political stunts, no one to beat our rathathin rathams. Sri Lankan innocent Tamils should live in amity, that should be the only aim. Whereas terrorist in Tiger skin is eulogised by our so-called leaders. Is it out of fear for him? Rajiv Gandhi's fate should not be meted out to them - that fear lingers over their mind? They are cowardise then no doubt.
Why the hell then they voice for brutal killer? They crossed over to our land and left no scar of our great former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. It is shame the spouse of the massacred leader having alliance with the supporters of the evil force. Where Tamilnadu goes? It bleeds not by blood shedding but by our political leaders' political stunts for votes which ultimately ends in usurping power to amass wealth not satisfied with what they are plundered already. Hell with avaricious men.

Truth

Meiporul

'Epporul yarvoi ketpinum apporul
Meiporul kaanpadhiru'

said Thiruvalluvar. Politicians often quote Thirukural. The couplets come handy for them often. But in practice they go astray. Oorukku upadesam yaarukku venum? Thiruvalluvar Day they celebrate, Thiruvalluvar portrait they have in Government buildings as a showcase. Under his right nose bribe is taken and given. Valluvar vazhi thondrargal. Poor poet, if he had been alive he would have sure detested their designs.

Little slip great flop

Living life is as being on knife

Please others in order to you be pleased. We are living among jackals, tigers and some human beings. These constitute society. Surviving in this atmosphere one should have shrewdness. In the moving crowd if one stays behind he/she will be trampled to death. Move along, move along, keep moving is the lesson one should imbibe.
Be a friend to a friend and a foe to a foe. Well how to identify a friend and a foe? Or else you will be yourself a foe. I am no a preacher and not qualified as one. But this is out of experience in life.
Traces of some words uttered may be hurting for ever and there won't be any remorse. This is great words of the great Thiruvalluvar: 'If you cannot do good to others at least do not harm them'. How many of us follow this. Some rejoice in others' sufferings. With lip sympathy they are at mirth at heart forgetting that the ill if had befell them how will be their position be.
Caste feelings - hatreds - as long as they come to stay, men cannot live in amity. There will be jealousy, scandal-mongering etc. On the spiritual side also nothing is perfect, it seems. There are umpteen faiths each one wanting to boost his belief and crush others way of life. Even among Hindus, Vaishnavite, Saivate, Madhwaite dishormony prevails. A Madhwacharaya follower feels his/her acharya should be alone professed and brush aside with contempt Saivate or Vaishnavite gurus and vice versa. Those teachers are gone for ever but the sects that are so-called followers fight among themselves. Religions little said the better. When will we be all one? That Almighty alone knows.

Time machine

Had I been in possession of H G Well's Time Machine

I would have put a brake on all the calamities that shook our earth - Tsunami, terrorists' designs. Why I would announced the results of the Lok Sabha election by travelling to future. Oh God has not blessed with me of the same.
I would have led Rajiv Gandhi away from Sriperumbudur on the fatalful day. I would have helped changes in India's future for the better. And if I had the power of superbeing I would not let the world go Utopian way, the philosophy of which professes that Gods are in heavan happy, unconcerned of the world and let it fend for itself. Why then God? But our philosophy speaks that the Gods are taking care of the people.
My wish I should not allow let harm done to women, weaklings and others. At the very sight of the same complete annihilation of the evil forces should automatically take place. Will that descend for the ascendancy of human beings? Let me know Oh Lord!

Time present and time past

Are both perhaps present in time future,

And time future contained in time past.

If all time is eternally present

All time is unredeemable.

What might have been is an abstraction

Remaining a perpetual possibility

Only in a world of speculation.

What might have been and what has been

Point to one end, which is always present.

Footfalls echo in the memory

Down the passage which we did not take

Towards the door we never opened

Into the rose-garden. My words echo

Thus, in your mind.

Kalyanthan kattikittu oodi polama

Marriages are made in haven

Are nowadays marriages made in heaven? When I came across an American couple I asked them when were your coupled. The goodlooking lady said he is my seventh husband. The husband in turn said she is my fifth wife. Nice, marriages are made in heaven is proven false. They asked me how long your were been married? Me: 25 year, Woh! we can't believe it. This is west versus east.
Oriental, occidental not incidental, some dental why should be bother. Hamburger, Salads, Beverages, Desserts Sauces & Dips and why the hell not Indian dish, I wish.
Likewise husbands and wives to their taste and we Indians crave for family life which is heavan.
Kalyanathan Kattikittu Oodipolama is their way of life and kalyanathan kattikittu serdhirupoma is our life style. Well which do you prefer?

Sri Lankan Tamils

Significant magnification

There being no second opinion on that the innocent Tamils not only in Sri Lanka, but also worldover have to live peacefully, why our politicians cry from top of the roof? But our politicians for political gain are making a hill out of mole, is the general feeling. Really are they voicing for them from their heart? It is highly doubtful. They are trying to make this a plank for this Lok Sabha election, particularly in Tamilnadu. On top of it these opportunists openly come out in support of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran, branded terrorist.
According to sources he enrols minors into his fold and keeps as shield by placing women and civilians in the forefront while fighting with the army. Is it not cowardice? This ethnic problem in Sri Lanka was made take to this shape, beyond remorse, for decades. And the LTTE leader is made hero by some.
If let and opportunity was available, no doubt, he would override Tamilnadu politicians and wellsettled in Tamilnadu and segragated the State from the Indian union and would have become dictator in our soil. Sure this would have happened. Then our politicians would have nowhere to go and they will be slaves in their own State. This they don't seem to realise.
Likewise Bagladeshi's infiltration in Assam is alarming and most of them have got voting rights, it is said. Aliens are slowly grabbing our land. If not checked in the beginning itself, now it is already too late, our country would be lost forever to fundamendalists from abroad. Politicians with nationalist spirit should ponder over this deeply.
Our defence should be strengthened that no foreign elements enter our country with ulterior motive. Already terrorists have dented holes in our security by successfully carrying out bomb blasts which killed hundreds in various Indian cities. This should not be let grow. Beware, save Bharat, save India. Ours is a land of peace don't let it go apiece.

Freebies for lullabies

Jananayagam vs pananayagam
Free colour TVs to the poor, dole to unemployed, pension hike to widows by the Government may have other implications, rather than they fetching votes for donors. They are like lullabies, the recipients happily enjoying viewing TVs, eating out of the dole without endeavouring for a livelihood. On the whole lazy people are nurtured.
Instead creation of more job opportunties, alms to the critically diabled would go a long way which will also be cherished. Flood relief, another belief of the parties concerned would be to their benefit. Flood relief has gone to really deserving of course and also to the affluents.
One thing Government can do. Let it provide all its subjects irrespective of caste, creed, religion board and lodging without having them to fend for themselves then the particular party will rule for ever. Another bonus - liquor also should be free unlimited for our perum kudimagans - no one to beat. Income generation, let it go to dogs. Economy go to hell. Power, position, fame, name alone would stand in the game. Vazhga Baratham, valarga arasiyal.

Good men in bad parties

Beware voters, be aware traitors

There are good candidates who really want to serve the people but the parties they are in are not so good. Parties are not for bifucating a nation in amity. But some parties want a separate state for themselves, aligning with foreign extremists, terrorists and those who value human lives as bubble in the air and rejoicing killings of innocents, without least realising that they themselves would become the targets one day.
Bharat, a great nation should not go apiece, is the feeling of real mother-lovers. How many are them and they can be numbered. Hell befall on the politicians who sell their mother country for their personal aggrandisement. Amassing wealth of some politicians has become their daily affair. Such politicians should be taught a lesson and they should never raise again. Will our people do it, poor people they do not know to distinguish between the bad and good elements in politics.
Yonder wanders not to slander asunder
Wonder if thunder struck the blunder
Binder not to plunder go under the evil
Splendour no more render thy to anvil
Bharat Mataki jai, Vande Mataram. Let every one live in peace. Identify devils who dwell among us and spell illwell on us. The thejos will definitely descend on earth to save the living beings. The day is not far off, take it from me.

Sariyana poti in arasiyal kalam

Political game is same
With the joining of seven parties headed by the BJP, the Tamilnadu politics is getting interesting. Will this be a challenge to others in the fray? Come what may the DMDK is going it alone. The Congress with the DMK alone with it may feel as if running chills into its veins. Undithered the DMK chief has said that Sethusamudram project would bring prosper to the State. How he alone knows. Inspite of experts in the navigation spelling out that the canal could hold only small ships on completion and would serve no purpose, the DMK insists on the project and is adamant and pressurises the Centre. Hindus enemy is none other than the DMK itself. Even if the other religions want to live in amity with the Hindus they will not be allowed by these petty politicians. They don't know other politics. Problems should persist for their survival.
And regarding the Indian money in crores with the Swiss bank, L K Advani is harping on bringing it into India, once when his Government assumes power at the Centre, shatters the hopes of account holders. Chidambaram says the UPA Government had already sought the information. But why then it has not happened. It is highly doubtful even if NDA forms Government at the Centre the Swiss account would not be amiss. As money power is so much that nothing, nay a finger could be raised against the corruption as corruption would bring forth more corruption. What happened to Bofors before?
Who is interested in the country than selves? This set up is so and no power on earth could correct this unless a Lalbahadur Shastri like personality is seated at the helm. Even he would not be spared. Poor India and the Bharat Mata has to fend for Herself. Her sons - politicians - are Her sins.

Ego enungo?

Sordid image that is damaged
'Chudarmigum Arivudan ennai padaithai' a poetic privilege of Mahakavi Bharathi that much liberty he has taken and at the same time 'Adakkam amarlul uyikkum adangamai aarirul uyithuvidum' was another poet's version. These have to be respected. The great Thiruvalluvar experienced life and presented it in his couplets. Some people feel jealousy of others. What others would have crossed to attain the stage that they have reached their present position has to be taken into consideration. That would have been immaterial to them. Simply that they should not thrive. At their age they have attained they might have come across various hurdles - infamous, famous - Oh God they don't seem to realise that.
Favouring some they like and ditching aome they don't like - is it fare? The particular individuals have their own chance in life. they have to see ups and downs. When will they realise this? Fed up with their character this may seem scattered thoughts but these have to be read between the lines. Such lingering feeling would follow. Let those get it set them others let them not and rest in peace. Do they? Philosophy is not thy child alone.
An assorted, disjointed ponderings of a pained mind.

IPL

IPL bowled over to South Africa

Fantastic, at last Indian Premier League has been fixed at South Africa. Terror threat decided the fate of IPL agsinst being played in India. Aliens are Rajasthan Royals. Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Kolkatta Night Riders, Hyderabad Deccan Chargers, Bangalore Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab to SA. We cannot say so.
If it had been played here it would have been a treat to our fans, What the BCCI has been doing so far?
(After thought)
South Africa where Mahatma Gandhi who stayed and worked for the slaves there prior Independence would not come to our rescue. After 60 years of Independence we cannot find solace in our own country and escaped outside. If the matches have been played in our soil what would have happened. Nothing with our military might should we not be ashamed of fearing terrorists who might have jeoparadised our growth.
Union Government is not strong. Hell with it. People have to mend for themselves. This is sportively intended not otherwise.
With IPL I have gone astray and not to distray.

Ssssmile

Smile is a mile away to some

Whatever joke is cracked poke not their nose to grin a little. Man alone can laugh which animals cannot puff. They have no ears to humour that happens to be a tumour. Well, what befalls if they enjoy a wit and doesn't fact enter into their wit, a bit. Can this be equated with 'Let the river flow in milk, yet the dog can only lick'?
On the other hand some are born to be cheerful. Laughing is a medicine, they say and to keep fit laughing therapy - session, many adopt. Relax their system by giving outlet to their emotions would make them healthy they believe. God has given the mouth not only to be a chatterbox rather a laughter on gags.
Always laughing also allows into others' mind that the person is insane. Of course all are not 100 per cent sane. Insanity to certain degree persists in all human beings. Hence smile when you need to and don't keep it mile away and laugh heartily when you are required to and don't stand aloof to everything but to bad alone. Smile please for nature is always taking a snap of you from its studio. That is way to be happy and gay.

LS election

I have people's overwhelming
support: AIADMK candidate

The AIADMK south Chennai Lok Sabha constituency candidate Chitlapakkam C Rajendran, a grass root level worker since 1980 held various posts in the party. Advocate by profession, says hopefully 'I am very familiar in the area. Old Tambaram with an electorate of over 9-1/2 lakh will vote for the AIADMK. Tambaram divided into three - Tambaram, Shozhinganallur and Velachery - where I have worked and Virugambakkam constituency added where I am familiar would favour me.'
The delimitation has done nothing harm, rather it favoured and very beneficial to the party.
People are fed up law and order, price rise, power cuts, murder, dacoity, Cauvery river water issue, Palar drinking water, Mullaiperiyar tangle and Sri Lankan Tamils issue for the past 2-1/2 years. The DMK is not in a position to solve these problems alongwith the Central Government. And if at the Centre, a Government that Jayalalithaa would favour came to power these issues would be tackled, he said.
At present he is Kancheepuram East district AIADMK secretary. He had held district joint secretary, St Thomas Mount union AIADMK secretary, union AIADMK party joint secretary, Chitlapakkam Town Panchayat AIADMK secretary posts. He held the Government posts of St Thomas Mount panchayat union council president, Chitlapakkam town panchayat council vice president and member, CMDA.
He had been jail on various occasions. Once when he protested when a false case was foisted against Jayalalithaa and took part in demonstrations announced by the party chief, he professed.
When asked whether his party would emerge victorious in all the 40 seats. He replied in the affirmative. And what would the strategy adopted by the AIADMK with the Centre, when encountered, he replied the decision would be Amma's.
'If as per Jayalalithaa's wish a Government at Centre is formed, everything will be in order,' he firmly said.

Political rollicking

Election, selection, collection

Actor Karthik's Akhila India Nadaalum Makkal Katchi with the actor taking on Vaiko at Virudhunagar. Vaiko, a seasoned politician, facing Karthik, a recent political entrant, sariyana koothu.
Akhila India Lakshiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam of Vijaya T Rajender who is to announce more than 10 candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election in which one would taste his commotion out of emotion for the promotion of his party, submission, admission, revision, precision, examination and transmission would galore in his declaration.
'Valarthenda thaadi, nee oru pedi, odi po nodi pothil, naadi varuvar makkal thedi ah ah ah!' will be tryst. Tanda nakka, tanda nakka, tanda nakka.
Sarath Kumar's AIl India Samathuva Makkal Katchi is contemplating to fight it alone or sit tight without entering the fray as the arena does not seem grey.
Other main parties as the BJP, the Congress and regional ones allying, tallying number hope to outnumber seats the other side would possibly get. Did you get it want to bet?
Good political tamasha adra chakka, adra chakka.

'Cho' it is not rain

Enagey Brahmenan?

Cho's Engey Brahmenan search, he serialised in his Tughlak now continues in Jaya TV. What a pity. Once more the readers have to undergo the torment in visual media. Brahminical language is abundant in the serial. Ashok, the character is made to undergo sea change. He is Vasishtar incarnation, acording to the story.
Earthly pleasure he shuns, spiritual treasure he guns. Cho Ramasamy has created a character lokalike Periyar's disciple who interpolate the beliefs of ardent devotees and followers of a faith. He makes fun, who is convinced with convincing explanations by Tughlak editor. It seems he is half convinced, the viewers are made laughing stock. A search in vain it seems. What he tries to convey through this serial is anybody's guess.
He uprights religious rituals and at other time, he himself ridicules them it seems. Never he tries to demean the beliefs of one sect. Yet the serial goes on and it might be premature to comment on it. Out of anxiety this little endeavour of analysing, not analysing, to some extent reasoning out was attempted which may be considered by the author.
Poor parents of the hero and his girl friend find it difficult to (under)estimate him. The bhagavathar who wants him to be seen in the up above the world so high himself finds self defeated. There is no villain as such in the episode and seemingly villain is Ashok himself to himself.
Mother is as mother and the father wants his son to lead a life as other youngsters but the son is sun to be shone forever for he detests wordly pleasure and longs of eternal knowledge which has been eluding him. It is hoped that at the end of the serial he would attain gnana which is the happy end of such serials. This is no critical review but the wish is in every one's mind that the boy should shine as star in his haven, rather heaven.

L Ganesan

'Selection to win
is BJP's strategy'

'We are contesting 11 Lok Sabha seats and one or two may be added and it will be decided as to whom to vote in other constituencies', BJP State president L Ganesan said. He said he was a humble servant of the party, working areawise and contesting this election was not his decision, the party wanted him to fight the election from South Chennai and he abided.
'We have to contest not for contest sake. Selection to win and winnable seat we are contesting,' he elaborated to me in a chat at Kamalalayam, the BJP headquarters in Chennai.
This being Parliamentary election the choice was between the DMK, the AIADMK and the BJP. BJP was the only nationalist party and it had a good chance, Ganesan added. In fact the BJP was benefited due to delimitation. The Congress would not get a majority of its own as it was fighting very few seats when the vastness of the nation was concerned. NDA would sure capture power at the Centre and Advaniji would be Prime Minister for another five years. A minimum of 200 seats and more the BJP would win and even it would not be a surprise if it emerged a single majority party.
South Chennai, an elite constituency, according to him, where good number of educated voters were there, middle class with nationalist spirit who would prefer the right candidate, he said.
He appealed to South Chennai voters to vote for him and wished everyone exercise his/her franchise without shirking one's responsibility. Our country's destiny rested in the hands of the people and while voting think about the candidate, the party and the candidate's previous achievements and the election manifestos.
People while voting voted to winnable candidates rather than to who should win. BJP, the only party which never eulogised leaders, gave importance to the nation rather than to party or persons. The slogan would be 'Bharat Mathaki jay' and in any of its headquarters it would have no leaders portraits or statues, excepting Bharat Matha statue with country in the forefront, he said.

Kamban En Kadhalan

Kamban En Kadhalan
Kamba Ramayana
Sivakumar parayana

Has Kamba Ramayana been so simplified and spoonfed to the audience is very much doubtful.
Actor Sivakumar's Kamban En Kadhalan telecast in Vijay TV on Chithirai Thirunal to the gathering of college students has glorified the epic. It was simply an extempore.
Sivakumar's entry into the tinsel world through Uyarndha Manithan when he was 19 years old, with now he standing Uyarndha Manithan, was that an indication for this eminence?
His presentation of Kamba Ramayana with present-day context to the students' rejoice is sure a novel way of treating the epic.
He quotes Kamba Ramayana as if he himself has written the epic. Avvai Natarajan said as his face is his mind. What more than you expect.
It was narrated that Ramar never defiled Kooni for her to take revenge on Sri Rama while King Dhasaratha announced his enthroning. He has aimed at the rose which fell on her and she had vowed to take vengeance against him.
Soloman Papahaia said Professor Kamban cannot imagine and he instigated youngsters to go in for reading Ramayana.
Thamizharuvi Manian glorified the actor for the vernacular excellence the actor possessed in himself as more than 3,000 college students were held spellbound by Sivakumar's Ramayana narration.
Ilampirai Manimaran said the orator has simplified and offered the crux of Kamba Ramayana to the listners.
When Kumbakarna in his deep slumber was awakened, Kambar writes, 'Urangukindra Kumbakarna ungal maya vazhvellam irangukindrathendru kana ezhundhirai ezhundhirai karangu pondra vilpiditha kaladhoothan kaiyelae uranguvai uranguvai inikidanthu uranguvai.' What actually happened.
Many have endeavoured to discourse on Kamba Ramayana but this attempt by Sivakumar, not as a discourse, speaks volumes and it shows his deep study and understanding of the epic Ramayana. This is an eyeopener to the so-called Ramanaya upanyasakars.
Actor Sivakumar is a resident of Krishna Street, T Nagar.

Letter writing is an art

Cultivate, develop narration

I remember having read in my school on letter writing. Mere writing letter that anyone could do. But you will have to get the effect on the recipient. That effect may be one of joy or bringing tears into their eyes.
To a person thousands of miles away, you bring forth the prevailing condition at your end. Like say, a dad writing to his daughter who is far off. 'Old grandma is sitting in the chair in her bedroom. She is trying stitch her torn sweater and with her poor eye sight, she finds it difficult to get the thread into the ear of the needle. I happen to see the predicament of hers and help her in achieving her end.
'Tommy is playing in our foreground. While I am writing this letter to you, the time here is 4.15 pm. Your mom and brother are sitting beside me. Since you left Bharu your brother Mani who used to go along with for learning car driving does not show much interest. He is awaiting your arrival from your assignment next month. We are all anxious to see you. Keep in good spirit.'
By this letter the young lady would visualise and cherish her memory. The letter writing should be such that the reader of the same feels at home. The loneliness would be forgotten and she would feel among her family members.
Am I right?

Sonnet

Happy Tamil Year

Welcome Chithirai
Gone to some nithirai
A State helmsman Minister
Cheap he became, sinister
Not he satisfied with his posts
Wounds the feelings, he boasts
Hell with his gimmicks
Fell the feller of comics

Wanton liar whom he cares
For we to bear with his dares
Dares he to meddle with others
Hindu religion which not bothers
Heads of States anywhere kindle?
Except a man who doth swindle.

Of Nagesh

Nagesh the comedian, no one his near median
Thai Nagesh par excellence in acting. In either pensive melancholic mood or in joyous mood he was the one and never anyone. With one Maadhu character he reached his eminence. Later comedians went in for cheap gimmicks, with slapping each other, silly jokes that would evoke irritation rather than hilarious moment. As Dharumi in Thiruvilaiyadal he has acted equal to Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan. He was easy with every hero he paired with. Neerkumizhi where as a patient destined to die, he brought tears in eyes of audience. It is wondered even if the great actor Sivaji could match with him. So a gunachitra nadigan. It is a pity that one's greatness comes to the fore after his demise. In his life time he was not honoured with befitting titles, when many others with not so remarkable achievements were bestowed with. Ulaga nayagan Kamalhasan rightly recognised his dexterity and offered him a character in all his films. His death has created a dearth in the tinsel world of real comedians. He has acted with many of heros of yesteryears. And his Server Sundaram was a great piece. His ascendancy in cinema at the cost of his mother's life was portrayed in the film and one can visualise in real life the same. His personal life was a total failure - loss of mother, love failure - and yet he grapples up with the situation. The audience would have returned with a heavy heart. The list goes long, a few of which was narrated in this story for the viewers to relish. Nagesh lived, enlivened his fans is the fact that no one can deny.

Election in Demo(n)cracy

Selection through election, bane or boon?

The Lok Sabha election for the 15th after Independence is round the corner. Parties innumerable, candidates unnumberable are vying with each other to be seated in Parliament. Well, coming to the question - elections bane or boon. They are boon to the parties and candidates and bane to the people.
Boon in the sense, simply they mint money and stash it into Swiss Bank. Bane to the citizens as they are again cheated with tall promises as bringing heaven to the earth. Why in India so many parties - one in each street. In US there are two parties. Does not the Government run there. That apart they are much much developed. India is ruining due to n-number of parties and candidates only with the aim of becoming rich. That is the politics that is being hapenning in our demoncracy, {sorry for the 'n' that crept inadvertantly between 'demo' and 'cracy'} so-called democracy.
Politics is business in India. No politician is an exception. Even if any he/she would go into oblivion and that person would be branded not fit for politics. Many, many politicians have garnered wealth for 10 or more generations and still amassing and as in olden dynasty rule nurture their wards into politics to become Chief Minister/Prime Minister after them. Where is democracy. As said it is really not for the people, but 'far' the people, not of the people but 'off' the people and not by the people but to 'buy' the people. Poor people they do not know the tactic of topple the incorrigible politicians. Hey ho to demoncracy, sorry again democracy. God save common man.

Rajinikanth in politics

Never ever enter politics, my dear sir
Super star Rajinikanth has been elusive to politics. Why? Is he super star in tinsel world alone? Stars cannot shine in politics. He has got it into his mind straight. They (the fans) tried to drag him into the whirlpool. He tactically evaded. He had had his ambition, but having learnt its mirth, rather dearth, he wisely swayed away from it.
Had he floated a party of his own and become Chief Minister or Prime Minister one would wonder if he had not his headquarters at Himalayas. He is a believer in God to the core. Nothing can shake his belief. He is destined to it. Soul cannot turn foul. Come what may he is stay put on his mindset.
Cinematic is not his real life that is reel life. Reel and real cannot go together. He has fully got into his every vein. And so he is super star and not duper scar. Let him not enter politics. It will let him down for sure. Keep it up Rajini sir.
No offence, only to your defence and if it sounds suspense my penance. God be with you.
And . . .
Vijaykanth has his DMDK and Sarath his AISMK and would they have gone into oblivion if Rajini had entered politics in full swing? It is a moot question. Arasiyalil idhellam sagajamappa. 'Politics is last resort for scoundrel', according to lexicographer Samuel Johnson. Is it so? So so.

Chennai Digestive Week 2009

Digestive diseases: Experts converge on Chennai

Chennai Digestive Diseases Week 2009 is being observed in the city from today to 12 April.

This was announced yesterday by Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) Tamilnadu chapter in collaboration with the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO).
.
The day will see the coming together of the best in the field of gastroenterology with a council of collective knowledge from across the world to impart expertise to Indian doctors specialising in this field.

Apollo Hospitals senior consultant Dr K R Palaniswamy, organising chairman and organising secretary Dr Balasubramaniam, chief of endoscopy University of Alabama, US, Dr Shyam Varadarajulu and Madras Medical College head of the department Dr Mohammed Ali made an announcement of a four-day workshop and briefed the press on inflammatory bowel diseases and irritable bowel syndrome.

The first-of-its- kind meet worldover would be inaugurated on the third day by Tamilnadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala.

On 9 and 10 April, a hands-on training programme is being organised to impart specialists as to how to use an endoscopic ultra sonogram (EUS).

About 50 gastroenterologists from all over India will be trained on this new technology by world renowned experts such as Dr Robert H Hawes (USA), Dr Shyam Varadarajulu (USA) and Dr Lawrence Ho (Singapore).

The EUS helps in early diagnosis of various diseases like cancer of oesophagus, bronchogenic carcinoma, gastric cancer, cancer of pancreas and rectal cancer.

Diseases that involve the pancreas such as acute and chronic pancreatitis and its complications can be effectively diagnosed and treated using this technology.

On 11 April, a live course on EUS will be transmitted live from Apollo Hospitals to an auditorium at Residency Towers, T Nagar, Chennai.

Around 200 doctors are expected to view this programme. Apart from this, there will be a plan to web cast the same transmission live which will facilitate not only specialists in India but also around the world.

On the final day, an international Continuing Medical Education (CME) is to take place where five international and many Indian experts will take part in an active discussion.

They will enlighten the audience on the advances in gastro oesophageal reflux disorder (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, diventicular disease, non viral hepatitis, cholangio carcinoma, obesity and newer diagnostic tools such as impedence manometry, confoal endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy and narrow band imaging.

The highlight of The Chennai Digestive Week 2009 is a guest lecture on life- style disorders and digestive health by the WGO president Dr Eamonn Quigley.

Dasavatharam

Why my intrusion?

Sri Mahavishnu's ten avathars according to mythology were to correct and lead the human beings on right path. Whereas Ulag Nayagan Kamalhasan's Dasavathar was a cinematic entertainer - a mixture of modern scientifically advanced world and mythology of the yore. Can chemical war be compared to alakala visham when the parkadal was churned with Vasuki as chord and Meru as chruning stone? Devas on one side and Asuras on the other were vying with each others for the amritha that emerged later.
The remake, rather dubbing of the Tamil version into Hindi would have a well reception as the north have the both extremes of believers and non-believers. And in the nothern hemisphere, I swear are the Mathura Vrindavan, Mithila, Ram Janmabhoomi, Rishkesh, Kailash and other holy places in abundant. Hence this, my small endeavour in eliciting in my way the avathars and mentors of this globe.

Go ahead spiritually!

Flabbergasting flibbertigibbet
is not Krishnaveni

Is it simply to add to the number ten, the Nambi, a controversial, avatar of twelfth century inducted in the Kamal film Dasavatharam? It raked flutter among the Hindu outfits. However, the court intervened and gave a clean chit to the release of the film, delivering that it has not got any connection with Lord Mahavishnu and the Dasavatharam title hasn't any copyright.
The Nambi episode, whether history or figment of the writer's imagination of clash between Saivites and Vaishnavites does not go with the story. It stands detached.
Sodium Chloride (NaCl) is held above Lord. The virus has to be immersed in mere salt. The salt insufficient story winds, unnecessarily to 12th century, to US, Japan and India. Finally the tsunami which was a killer of lakhs turned saviour of crores. Anyhow, God's, sorry Kamal's design is to kill as little as possible.
Narasimha Rao or Venkoba Rao, Balaram Naidu wants to apprehend the 'criminals' ravodu ravaga - not withstanding RAW. American CIA, Indian intelligence sleuths had to vie with each other to catch the 'terrorist'. At last it was Dr Govind who had to come to the rescue of humankind - natural disaster not to be blamed.
Kamal's talent, genius are evident in every frame, not an iota of doubt over it. Make-ups also distinguish ten Kamals, upto the mark. Voice modulation, a very good endeavour, succeeded almost. The Tamil mixed Telugu accent of Balaram Naidu was superb and evoked humourous comedy, a cinematic, but an officer in police force could not be afford to be so.
Krishnaveni, mother of Aravamudhan who is believed dead, puts up an act extremely appreciable, as mentally disturbed.Hats off to Kamal, sorry Krishnaveni. Japanese karate master excels in his short stint. On the whole, the film is for view one time and one time only.

Lok Sabha

R S Bharathy ready to move to big stage
Chennai, April 7:
He has been chairman of the Alandur Municipality for four times on the trot. Now, R S Bharathy, long-time legal wing secretary of the DMK, gets an opportunity to prove himself on a bigger stage — the nation’s Parliament, if he gets elected from South Chennai Lok Sabha constituency in the forthcoming elections. The delimitation process has brought in several changes. So long, he was confined to Alandur Municipality, now he has to concentrate on more areas including Velachery, Medavakkam, Triplicane (part), Mylapore, Virugambakkam, West Mambalam, T Nagar, Saidapet, Thiruvanmiyur, Sozhinganallur and Uthandi on the ECR stretch. He may have more on his plate, but Bharathy is not flustered and hopes to do his best, if he gets elected from the high-profile South Chennai constituency.
Being a popular personality in Alandur and nearby areas, the DMK veteran is confident that his good work as the Municipal Chairman will bring him votes. Also, the locals feel they will be losing a hard-working Chairman (if he goes on to become an MP).
To a query on whether he would accept a Ministerial berth if the UPA returned to power at the Centre, all he would say was: ‘I don’t want to comment and invite trouble.’
Asked how he would go about his job if he emerged victorious at the hustings, Bharathy said, ‘I will study the situation and take action.’
Sharing his thoughts with News Today, the well-known advocate, said the people’s expectations made him take the decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections. Further, he said as a labour leader, he was cajoled to contest from North Chennai for which he had applied. ‘Yet, the demands from advocates could not be neglected, so I also applied to contest from South Chennai.’
Bharathy is grateful to the DMK high command for nominating him to contest from South Chennai, a seat hitherto held by Union Minister T R Baalu, who will now seek election from Sriperumbudur.
